Spirulina Face and Body Mask, Parsley Body Scrub

Spirulina Face and Body Mask
½ tsp spirulina powder
1 tsp nutritional yeast
1 ½ tsp apple cider vinegar
½ tsp chia seeds (optional)

Combine all ingredients in small bowl with wire whisk. Using your fingers, apply in circular motions to your face, neck, chest and anywhere on your body you desire firming, toning and refreshing. Allow to sit 5-10 minutes and rinse with cool water.

Parsley Body Scrub
1 cup chopped parsley
1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar

This scrub is incredibly gentle while providing you with powerful effects. Parsley has been log revered for it’s cleansing, purifying and toning properties. Apple cider vinegar helps regeneration of skin cells and helps balance the PH of skin.

Combine ingredients in food processor using the chop tool. Chop until finely ground. Spoon out into a small bowl and take into the tub or shower.

If I use this scrub in the shower, I turn off the water and apply the mixture to my skin in circular motions.  I often use grapefruit peels as my wash clothes for this.

If in the tub, I stand up to apply the scrub, allowing the parsley to fall into the tub, creating a parsley bath tea that will continue to revitalize the skin. This might seem messy, but it’s actually quite clean, as both parsley and vinegar are often used in home made cleansers. I find that this rinses easily from the tub and shower.
