Aloe Strawberry Banana, Brussels Sprout and Gold Beet Salad, Avocado Celery Soup

This recipes are featured in Episode 29 “Celebrating Moms” 
Aloe Strawberry Banana
1 ½ cups strawberries
1 banana
2 Tbsp fresh aloe
1 orange, peeled
1 scoop Growing Naturals Vanilla brown rice protein powder
1 tbsp honey
4 cups water

Cut 3 inches from an aloe leaf. Slice 3 inch portion and open up, scrap out aloe gel and put in blender. Add remaining ingredients and blend.

Brussels Sprout and Gold Beet Salad

12-15 Brussels sprouts
1 gold beet
1/2 head of fennel
1 handful of fresh cilantro
1 handful raw almonds

Dressing: lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and mustard seeds.


Avocado Celery Soup

2 ripe avocados
1 medium jicama
5 stalks of celery
Zest/juice of 1 lemon
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 red onion
Fresh marjoram or oregano
1 1/2 cups water
